mmm and then they’re like give us equal rights and then they get equal rights and theyre like ’“nah we’re the people of this land, treat us special”. if they want to be treated equally ill treat them just like everyone else, which means im not going to be oversensitive about what i call them or be careful if im giving them enough respect, they can have the exact same as everyone else if theyre fighting for equal rights. i havent opressed them. i understand shit has happened to them, horrible inhumane shit. but if theyre going to stand up and say “i want equal rights” then the fairest thing possible is to give them to them.
